Ok, so as everyone probably doesn't know... I do give some fashion advice and looking nice does mean a lot to me and I think that what you wear affects your personality and how you are responded to in society in general honestly. I have compiled some info from Details, GQ, Esquire, and various sources.
So today, I am just going to give kind of a general overview.
This Spring, we are going to be focusing on:
a) Bold colors: now if you are like me, this isn't necessarily a favorite. I like to wear more gray and black and white, navy and the occasional red. Now of course, we aren't talking go freaking Blurple. (blue and purple) or Neon Pink, which if you roll that way then roll on but for some of us...
b) Double Breasted Jackets: I haven't personally seen this come out much for the past few months because it has been really emphasized but I still haven't figured out the popularity. Anyways, the double breasted jacket is something that is pretty famous this Spring. You might try it!
c) Lightweight cotton: Thinner oxfords, thin sweaters, provide the perfect style but yet just enough warmth for the spring season. I will go into this further because I think its something that should be used a lot. It can be a good trend.
d) Lightweight suits: You don't have to be going to a business meeting or to a funeral to wear a suit. Now a tux is DIFFERENT!! But a suit, no. This spring, we are going to see some lighter colors of suits, lighter fit. Maybe a little bit more casual.
e) Oxford shoes: as we all know, these have been a trend for a while but hey they are still great. These paired with rolled up chinos, a button down, a light cardigan, and a pair of Ray-Bans make a perfect look. For any season!
Ok so these are the main things that will be a big focus for Spring 2012.
